PHSS News – July 2023: Summer update

In June this year we hosted a 2 day conference and workshop event, combining two major calendar events to maximise and focus support to those implementing the revised EU GMP Annex 1. The sterile product manufacturing conference and Aseptic processing workshop provided key insights into requirements of GMP compliance to Annex 1 and practical recommendations related to key aspects of Aseptic processing. The keynote speakers set the scene each day, focusing on driving change and what needs to be done differently. Day 1 was conference focused with presentations from subject matter experts, followed by a networking dinner where the discussions continued. Day 2 moved into workshop setting, allowing delegates to get into more detailed discussions. The event was hugely successful, and we would like to thank everyone involved in delivering this engaging and thought provoking event.

Following the June event, the much-awaited Contamination Control Strategy (CCS) practical guidance has been finalised and ready to make available to PHSS Members and Industry. For more information, please go here CSS Guidance.

The next event on the PHSS calendar is the Annual Conference in association with UCL Q3P. We will be hosting this at the Sheraton Hotel, Heathrow on 14th September 2023. The Agenda is now available, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Annual Conference 2023
